When you purchase an experience or voucher you will be required to also tick the box which states that you “understand and accept the terms and conditions”. These terms and conditions are binding. You should not make a purchase until you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions.
PRICES AND GST TAX
Viva Gifts may change the prices for each experience or gift without notice. All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10%.
VALIDITY OF GIFT EXPERIENCES AND VOUCHERS
Purchases of specific experience gift vouchers have a validity of 6 monthsfrom the date of purchase and are subject to the availability of the service provider. Extensions can be granted provided the experience gift voucher has not been presented nor expired. Extension can be granted only if such experience is still listed on Viva Gift’s website and if the experience provider is also willing to extend the validity. Should these requirements be met, the voucher can be extended for a maximum of 5 months at a cost of $4 per month. In the event the price of the experience has risen since the original issue date of the experience gift voucher, you will be charged for the price difference.
In the event your experience gift voucher has already expired and you contact us within 30 days of its expiry we can extend it for a maximum of 2 months for an administration fee of $20. If your voucher has already expired and you contact us more than 30 days from the expiry date, it cannot be extended and are non-refundable in whole or in part.
PLEASE NOTE These terms and conditions only apply to unpresented vouchers. Once contact has been made with the service provider and a booking confirmed, their terms and conditions will apply. We suggest confirming with the service provider what terms and conditions apply in the event you need to reschedule or have failed to attend the booking.
DELIVERY OF GIFT VOUCHERS
Experience vouchers and/or Viva Gifts vouchers are delivered by email to the email address entered by the purchaser. Please ensure you check your spam folder or add our email addresses to your address book as some email accounts may categorise our emails as unwanted spam email. We cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of an email voucher being blocked by web filters or firewalls. In the event the recipient does not receive the email voucher, please contact us via email at info@vivagifts.com.au.
Alternatively we can post the voucher using the standard Australia Post Service. For extra reassurance we highly recommend Express Post as it is traceable through Australia Post. We accept no responsibility for the Australia Post standard service (delivery charges are non-refundable). Re-delivery charge will apply (excluding email) should we require to resend the voucher ($2.50 to cover printing, standard postage charges and administration fees).
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE POLICIES
All experience vouchers are non-refundable and not exchangeable/redeemable for cash. Should you wish to make an exchange please note that some service providers may not be agreeable to this. In the event it is permitted, all subsequent exchanges will incur an administration fee of $10 per voucher.
If you exchange your voucher for an experience of lesser value - the remaining balance will be held in credit for the remainder of the original voucher’s expiry date. If you exchange your voucher for an experience of higher value - you will be required to pay the difference. The expiry date of any exchanged voucher is the same as the original voucher.
